Motocross has always been my passion since the age of eight. Growing up in the '80's in Cape Town, South Africa motocross was alive and vibrant backed by major sponsors like 'Camel', and 'Rocket' Rex Staten and Russell Campbell became the heroes of that era. My brother, Czeslaw introduced me to this sport and weekends were quarry time around our house; so myself and my mates followed my brother with BMXs' and this is how the love of this sport grew on me. Soon I started riding myself as well and the American magazines were inspirational for me. Buying my first camera in 1999 has opened up an opportunity for me to combine the love of riding and capturing the beauty of this colorful sport. Various magazines started publishing my photography and articles since 2011. My goal is to lift the sport to its rightful place here and in Sub-Saharan Africa like in the heydays of motocross in South Africa. SA is definitely on the world map and I want to keep portraying as this country produces more and more top riders all over the world. So all in all keep those throttles pinned!
